Latest Jamaica News, Montego Bay (McKoy’s News): British National Held with Cocaine The Narcotics police arrested and charged a British national on Tuesday, November 12, for breaches of the Dangerous drug act, committed at the Sangster’s International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.

Facing charges of possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine, and attempting to export cocaine is 29-year-old Elijah Wade, of Nottingham, England.

Reports are that about 5:00p.m., Wade checked in at the airport to board a flight destined to London, England, when his luggage were searched and a white substance resembling cocaine found.

The drug weigh approximately 1.65 pounds, and has an estimated street value of $975,000.

Wade is scheduled to appear in the St James Parish Court on Tuesday November 19.
