34-year-old, Orville Bailey otherwise called ” Bravo” laborer of Temple Hall, was arrested and charged for illegal possession of ammunition by the Westmoreland police on Friday, February 15.

The accused man is booked to appear in the Western Regional Gun Court on Friday, February 22nd.

Reports by the Negril police are that about shortly after 8:00 p.m., a team of officers were carrying out patrols in the vicinity of the Negril Beach Park when Bailey was seen acting in a suspicious manner.

He was accosted and search and a magazine containing twelve live 9mm rounds taken from him.

He was taken into custody and subsequently charged.
