Jamaica News, April 4, 2018 – BPO President Says Employees in Jamaica Increased over the Last 6 Years

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Yoni Epstein, President of the Business Processing Industry (BPO) in Western Jamaica says, over the past six years, Jamaica has seen a growth in the industry from 12 1/2 thousand employees to over 30 thousand employees.

According to the BPO President, the main drive within the industry has been the human capital and in order for the industry to show more growth they now have to work to improve the human capital.

Business Career Expo

Mr Epstein was recently speaking at the Business Career Expo held at the Montego Bay Conference Centre in Rose Hall, Montego Bay, under the theme “To Sensitize the work force”.

The event he says was hosted by the Business Processing Industry in collaboration with JAMPRO, was mostly aimed at looking at Jamaica’s next level of employees and grooming them in the right way.
