Boyfriend Charged After Killing School Teacher in Portland

Latest Jamaica News, Portland: Portland detectives have finally charged undertaker Rohan Martin, for the July 30 murder of his girlfriend Latoya Hill, a school teacher who resided at David Lane in Portland.

It is alleged that after committing the crime Martin fled the area, however, he was picked up on August 2. Following a series of interviews, Martin was charged on Monday with Hill’s Murder.

According to reports, the couple had an ongoing domestic dispute, and about 11:30 p.m. on Monday, they were heard in a heated argument at the house.

Portland Man Arrested for Murder in Montego Bay

Shortly after 3:00 a.m., Martin was seen dragging Hill’s body from the house, and attempted to place it in the trunk of his car.

Residents in the community challenged him and he ran from the scene, leaving the woman’s body on the roadway beside the vehicle.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Hill was found with a plastic bag over her head and another plastic bag wrapped around her waist. The body had what appeared to be a wound to the forehead.
