The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said its officers in St James are treating as murder, the death of an unidentified man who was found with a stab wound to the chest and a wound to the head on Orange Street in Montego Bay on Friday, December 21.

The body, which appears to be in the late thirties, is of dark complexion and medium build, and is about 183 centimetres (6 feet) long.

It has a straight face, facial hair, and a straight nose. The head had low-cut hair, but the front of it is bald.

The barefooted body was clad in white T-shirt and army-green jeans.

The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 6pm, passers-by saw the body lying along the road and called the police. The man was taken to hospital by citizens. However, he was pronounced dead. The police were contacted and, on Saturday (December 22), forensic crime scene investigators processed the body and found that it had a stab wound to the chest and a wound to the head.”
