“Bobby Ply” Held with Sub-Machine in Westmoreland

Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: The Westmoreland police seized arrested and charged one man, in connection with the seizure of a sub-machine gun, and several rounds of ammunition, in Burnt Savannah district, on Sunday, June 30.

Facing charges of illegal possession of firearm and ammunition is, Prydel Williams, otherwise called ” Bobby Ply” laborer of Bamboo Walk, in Westmoreland.

Reports are that about 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, an operation was carried out at a premises occupied by the accused.

A search led to the seizure of a Kel-tech 2000 sub-machine gun, fitted with a magazine containing, eighteen live 9mm rounds.

He was arrested and subsequently charged.
