St. Ann, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION BECOMES DEATH-DAY TRAGEDY: A man was killed while celebrating his birthday on Tuesday at a popular club in Runaway Bay, St Ann.

The deceased has been identified as twenty-seven-year-old Christopher Henry, o/c Chris of Salem, Runaway Bay.

Police reports  indicate that Mr Henry was at the Shelter Rock Night Club with his friends at about 9:30 pm, when a lone assailant entered the premises and started robbing persons at the club of mobile phones and cash.

The report also indicates that everyone complied ,and upon leaving the establishment ,the gun man fired two shots, one of which reportedly, hit Mr Henry in the head.

He died instantly on the spot and the gunman then escaped in a waiting motor vehicle.

The police are carrying out investigation into the killing and robbery.

Mr Henry’s death brings the total killings in St Ann to fifty-six since the start of the year.
