“Bigga” Shot and Killed at Gully in Montego Bay

Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: Detectives attached to the Barnett Street and Freeport Police Stations, in Montego Bay, St. James, are presently processing a crime scene where one man was shot and killed, and another shot and injured, along a section of Orange Street, in Montego Bay, known as “North Gully”, on Thursday, April 18.

So far, Investigators have given the name of the deceased only as, “Bigga” 28-year-old laborer of Paradise Rowe, also in North Gully.

The identity of the injured man is being withheld pending further investigations

Reports are that, shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, “Bigga” and the other man were standing with a group of men at a section of North Gully, known as Chuck Front.

While at the location they were approached by a lone gunman, who opened fire hitting both men multiple times to their bodies. The gunman then made his escape in the area on foot.

Following the shooting, the police were summoned and are presently still on the scene.
