Four Persons Murdered in Barrett Town Blood Bath

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Four Persons Murdered in Barrett Town Blood Bath: Four persons were shot and killed, one shot and injured during a blood bath which occurred the Barrett Town area of St James on Wednesday morning, June 7, 2017.

The fifth victim who is a 15-year-old student is presently at the Cornwall Regional Hospital in critical condition.

Those killed have been identified as, Doreen Brown a 57-year-old scullion, along with her 24-year-old son Wade Weekley both of Barrett Town, Clayton Daley a restaurant deliveryman and Nordia Cunningham a 35-year-old bartender of Barrett Hall.

Reports by the Montego Bay Freeport police are that, about 12:50 am on Wednesday,  Brown,  her son and his friend  Daley were at home in Barrett Town along with other family members, when a group of heavily armed men forced their way inside the house through the kitchen door and open fire on the occupants.

Weekley and Daley,  were shot and killed on the spot while the teenage boy was shot and injured.

Brown and another female who is identified as Weekley’s baby mother, ran from the house, however, the gunmen chased them, caught up with the elderly woman and shot her on the roadway.

About half hour later, the gunmen then went to a house at Barrett Hall occupied by Cunningham and other family members.

They kicked open the door to the house and opened fire killing her on the spot.

The police were alerted, upon arrival, the victims were pronounced dead at hospital.

Meanwhile, investigators pointed out that these series of attacked and shootings are believed to be gang related.
