Barber Stabbed to Death in Montego Bay, St James

Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: The Barnett Street police in Montego Bay, St James are now carrying out investigation surrounding the stabbing death of a popular barber within the inner city area on Wednesday morning, June 6.

The investigators also pointed out that they have still not yet gotten the real identity of the deceased but he is known so far only as “Index”.

Reports by the police are that shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the Barber who resides along Hart Street in Montego Bay where the shop from which he operates is located, was standing along the roadway when he got involved in an argument with two men. The men brandished knives and stabbed him several times to the regions of his upper body.

The men then walked away from the area, followed by which the Barnett Street police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded Barber was transported to the Cornwall Regional hospital where he was pronounced dead.
