Jamaica Crime News, St James: Davantie Dale, a bar porter who resides in Ironshore, St James, was granted bail in the sum of $250,000 when he appeared in the St James Parish Court on Friday, September 28, to answer to charges of Larceny.
Dale was ordered to return to court on November 8 and also to surrender his traveling documents.
Reports by the Coral Gardens Police are that on September 17, Dale stole several boxes of liquor valued at J$221,893 from the storage room of a resort hotel where he was employed.
The accused was caught on the hotel surveillance cameras removing the liquor from the hotel compound and placing them on a bus which was parked in the bus Park.
The police were summoned and following an investigation, Dale was arrested and charged.
