Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: Detectives assigned to the Lucea and Green Island CIB Departments in Hanover have now commenced a probe, surrounding the shooting death of a businessman in the community of Green Island on Saturday afternoon, July 28.
The deceased has been identified as, Patroy Smith, otherwise called “Pauna” 27-year-old Bar owner of Logwood, also in Green Island.
Reports by the police are that shortly after 12:30 p.m., Smith was standing outside his bar in Logwood, when a grey Toyota Axio motor car drove up to the establishment.

Two men travelling on board the motor car stepped out and brandished handguns. The men opened fire hitting Smith to his upper body before speeding away.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to the Noel Holmes hospital where he was pronounced dead.
