Auto Store Manager Arrested and Charged in Connection with Million Dollar Theft, in St James

Latest Jamaica News, Montego Bay (McKoy’s News): Auto Store Manager ArrestedA female who manages an auto parts store in Montego Bay, St James, was arrested and charged by the St James Police, on Monday, for her alleged involvement in the theft of  cash amounting to over a million dollars.

She has been identified as 48-year-old, Marcia Adrian, Store Manager of a Jumpp Town address, in Hopewell, Hanover, and she has been charged for Larceny as a servant.

Reports by the police are that during the month of October, Adrian who is the Store Manager for Superior Parts Store in Montego Bay, allegedly collected cash sales amounting to $1-million, seventy-nine thousand and five hundred dollars ($1,079,500,00), which is unaccounted for.

It is further reported that checks were made on the items at the store, on the monies which were collected during that period, and the General Manager discovered that cash amounting to more than one million dollars was unaccounted for over the period of October.

The police were called in and following an investigation, it was discovered that Ms. Adrian allegedly collected the cash, which she allegedly used for her own personal benefit, without handing it over to her employer.

Criminal charges were then brought against Ms. Adrian who is booked to appear in the St James Parish Court later this week.
