Jamaica Crime News, St James: 54-year-old Brenton Anderson, otherwise called “Brenton” auto body repairman, of Adelphi in St James, was shot and killed by two armed men in Porto Bello on Wednesday afternoon, November 28.
Reports by the Mount Salem police are that about 12:15 p.m., Anderson was standing at the entrance of his shop ,which is located off the Porto Bello main road, when two men travelling on motorcycles approached him.
Both men alighted from their motorcycles, brandished handguns and shot Anderson multiple times to his upper body.
The gunmen then made their escape on the motorcycles.
The Mount Salem police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
