Jamaica News: Arsonists struck twice within hours at the Riverton Dump in Kingston between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The fires left emergency crews stretched as within twelve hours of putting out the first they had to be back battling the second.

The National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) has ordered an immediate investigation into the incidents as they try to determine if security protocol was breached.

Chairman of the NSWMA Dennis Chung has also requested more army personnel to increase security at the facility as well as other waste facilities across the island.
