Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Westmoreland Murder: Just days after the Westmoreland police warned the residents in the parish against gunmen travelling on motorcycles, the Motorcycle gunmen struck again at a section of the parish, this time killing a resident of Grange Hill also in the parish.

The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Clive Jones, laborer of Crowder District in Grange Hill.

The police reported that about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, Jones and a friend were having a conversation along a section of Crowder Main Road when two men rode up on motorcycles. The men brandished handguns and fired several shots at Jones and his friend. They both ran but the gunmen gave chase and Jones was shot and killed on the spot. The other man who escaped unharmed alerted the police.

On their arrival, the body of the victim was transported to the Savanna-la-mar hospital where he was pronounced dead.
