Another Murder Rocks Westmoreland

Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: Another man was shot and killed in the parish of Westmoreland, on Friday,June 27.

He has been identified as 40-year-old Devon Anderson, labourer of Cannan Mountain, in Little London area, and he is the second person to be shot and killed in the parish, over the past eight days.

Reports by the Little  London police are that about 11:30 p.m. on Friday night, residents heard explosions coming from the direction of Anderson’s home, and summoned the police.

Upon the arrival of the lawmen, Anderson was discovered lying at the front of his home in a pool of blood, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

He was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
