Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Over the past two days three persons have been murdered within Kingston 11, and the Hunts Bay Police have now stepped up security presence in the communities.

The latest victim to be killed by gunmen has been identified as David Dunkley, a 30-year-old shopkeeper, who resided at Attic Boulevard in Phase 1, at Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11. He was shot and killed by a lone gunman while at his shop in Seaview Gardens, on Tuesday night.

Reports by the Hunts Bay Police are that about 9:05 p.m., Dunkley was at his shop, when a man posing as a customer walked into the establishment.

The man brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting Dunkley multiple times to his upper body.

The police were summoned, and upon their arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
