Another Man Shot and Killed in Spanish Town

Latest Jamaica News, St Catherine (McKoy’s News): One man was shot and killed by unknown assailants on Martin Street in Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Tuesday, August 20.

He has been identified as 28-year-old Paul Cooke, of Monk Street also in Spanish Town.

Reports by the Spanish Town Police are that about 7:30 p.m., residents alerted them after hearing gunshots been fired in the area.

Security Minister Says Communities Must Partner with Police to Fight Crime

The officers rushed to the scene and upon arrival, Cooke was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
