Another Lawyer Arrested on Fraud Charges

Jamaica Crime News: Yet another attorney has found himself in trouble with the law. Thirty-nine-year-old Jerome Dixon was on Thursday arrested and charged by investigators from the Fraud Squad for breaches of the Forgery Act.

He has been charged with Forgery, Uttering Forged Documents and Demanding Property with Forged Documents.

Police say on March 23, 2018, Dixon lodged an Instrument of Transfer document and a Court Order with the National Land Agency with information giving directives for a property in Harmony Hall, St. Mary, owned by the complainants, to be transferred to one of his clients.
