Jamaica News: Over the course of the weekend a total of three persons lost their lives in traffic accidents which occurred across the parish of Westmoreland.
The last person to lose his life on the roadway in the parish has been identified as Marlio Tomlinson, 22 year old, Labour of Town Head District in Frome Community.
Reports by the Frome police are that, about 11:30 pm, on Sunday July 8th, Tomlinson was driving a grey Toyota Mark X motor car along a section of the Town Head main road in Frome when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle reportedly crashed into an embankment and overturned during what time Tomlinson was thrown from his seat. The Frome police were summoned and upon arrival the wounded man was transported to the Sav la Mar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
On Friday afternoon of July 6th, two other persons lost their lives in separate traffic accidents in Westmoreland. A motor bike taxi operator was killed in a freak accident while transporting his girlfriend to work in Negril and another motorcyclist lost his life few hours later during a collision with a motor car along the Grange Hill main road.
