Ammunition Seizure in St Andrew North

Jamaica Crime News, St Andrew: The St Andrew North police say they are now in search of two men, in connection with the seizure of 20 assorted rounds of ammunition in the parish on Monday afternoon, May 7, 2018.
The Grant’s Pen police have reported that, between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday, a team of officers carried out an operation at sections of Fredrick Drive in Kingston 8.
While in the area, they saw the two men walking in the vicinity of the Grant’s Pen Gully, one of whom was carrying a black plastic bag.
Upon seeing the lawmen, the men threw the bag in the gully and ran. The bag was retrieved and found to contain seventeen (17) 12 gauge cartridges and three (3) 20 gauge cartridges.
A search was carried out for the men who managed to escape in bushes.
