Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: The Frome police in the parish of Westmoreland on Sunday, seized 43 rounds of ammunition, during an operation carried out in Georges Plain district.

No one was arrested during the seizures.

Reports by the police are that about 9:20 p.m., a team of officers attached to the Frome police station carried out an operation at sections of Georges Plain.

During the operation, the lawmen spotted a plastic bag along a section of the roadway, and it was searched.

The search led to the discovery of forty (40) .40 rounds,  two 12 gauge cartridges, and one (1) .45 round.
