Jamaica Crime News, St Eiizabeth: 53-year-old Henry Topping, the American national who was taken into custody at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, on Friday, February 15, for shooting his wife to death at her home in Southfield, St. Elizabeth, was slapped with murder charges on Wednesday, February 20.
Mr. Topping who is an an Analyst from Florida in the USA has being charged with the murder of his wife, 49-year-old Moy-Lynn Williams Topping.
Reports by the police are that about 6:30 a.m., on Friday February 14, Mr Topping who recently arrived in the island to spend time with his wife Moy-Lynn, got involved in a domestic dispute. Mrs William-Topping was in the process of transporting students to school in a minibus, when she was attacked by her husband and shot to death.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival to the location, William-Topping was rushed to the Black River hospital where she was pronounced dead. The accused was apprehended by police officers later that afternoon while attempting to leave the island.
