American Caught with Bullets at Jamaican Airport Arrested

Kingston, Jamaica (McN) — Police at the Norman Manley International Airport, in Kingston confirmed that on Wednesday, a United States man was arrested after he was found travelling with six rounds of ammunition.

Reports are that about 1:00 pm, an American citizen attempted to board a plane at the Norman Manly Airport in destination to Miami, Florida in the US, when during security check, bullets were detected in his suitcase as it passed through security x-ray.

His suitcase was searched by security and six .38 rounds of ammunition were found in a leather pouch, ready for travel.

He was taken into police custody,

Police report that is awaiting his attorney, to be interviewed in his presence.
