Jamaica News, Montego Bay: Ambulance and Motorist Crash – A female motorist and four medical attendants narrowly missed being killed, after an ambulance and a motor vehicle being driven by the female got involved in a traffic accident, which occurred along a section of Barnett Street in Montego Bay on Thursday afternoon.
Reports by the police are that shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, the ambulance which had four persons on board was traveling down Barnett Street while responding to an emergency call.
On reaching the vicinity of a service station, the female who was also traveling along the one way down Barnett Street in her vehicle, failed to keep to the right and drove in the path of the ambulance.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged, while the four occupants of the ambulance and the female driver escaped with minor injuries.
She was later warned for prosecution by the police who visited the scene.
