Alleged Robber Shot Dead after Attacking Cop, in Clarendon

The Independent Commission of Investigations have commenced a probe into the fatal shooting of an alleged robber, who was shot and killed by a police officer during a robbery at a shop in Free Town, Clarendon, on Monday morning, November 21.

Reports by the police are that about 3:45 am, the police officer accosted the robbery who had just broken into a shop in the community.

It is further reported that the robber attacked the cop and was shot during the process.

The police and investigators attached to INDECOM were called to the scene, and are now carrying out investigations into the shooting.
