Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)Alleged Cocaine Addict Murdered: A man who the Granville police say, was known to be an alleged cocaine addict, was shot and killed by unknown assailants along a section of Gordon Crescent in Granville, St James, on Wednesday morning, June 7, 2017.

The victim has been identified as,  Alrick Bailey, formally of Gordon Crescent but now resides in Downtown, Montego Bay.

Reports are that, about 8:30 pm on Tuesday, Bailey who left the community for a period of time, now returned to the area to visit relatives. While in the area, he was walking along a section of Gordon Crescent main road, when he was ambushed and shot to death by unknown assailants.

The Granville police were alerted and upon arrival Bailey was discovered lying in a pool of blood, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
