Jamaican Steeplechase sensation Aisha Praught stunned the entire world after she won the women 3,000m Steeple Chase at the staging of the Common Wealth Games being held on the Gold Coast in Austria.

Praught bettered a well-seasoned field to finish ahead of the defending champion and 2016 world Champion in a time of 9:21 00.
2015 and 2016 world U-20 Champion Celliphine Chespol of Kenya had to settle for the silver in an impressive time of 9:22. 00. The Common Wealth 2017 Defending Champion Purity Kirui had to settle for the bronze in 9:25 00.
