Airport Security Caught with Bottle of Perfume has been Charged

Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: Detectives attached to the Narcotics division has reported that a security guard employed to the Sangster’s International Airport in Montego Bay, St James, who was caught in possession of a bottle of perfume, while on duty at the Airport on Sunday,  August 5, has been charged.

The accused 22-year-old Jason Larmond of Wilson Valley in Warsop, Trelawny, has since been charged with Unlawful Possession of Property.

Reports by the Narcotics Police are that about 10:00 a.m. on Sunday,  they were summoned to Domestic Terminal Security checkpoint at the airport.

On reaching the checkpoint, Larmond who was coming off duty at the Airport Ramp was found in possession of a Chanel Blue perfume.

When questioned by the detectives,  Larmond was unable to explain how he had come by the bottle of perfume on his person.

He was arrested and subsequently charged for Unlawful Possession of Property. He is booked to appear in the St James Parish Court on Wednesday,  August 15.
