Jamaica News, March 12, 2018 – Accused Murderer Killed
St Mary, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A man who was accused of killing an elderly resident in the parish of St Mary on Sunday, March 11, was set upon by angry residents and killed. The motorcycle was also set on fire.
The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Winston Henry otherwise called “Dudes” of Highgate in St Mary.
Reports by the police are that following the killing of an elderly resident in the area on Sunday night, an angry mob accosted Henry and accused him of being behind the killing.
The residents then beat and chopped him to death, then set fire to his body and his motorcycle.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the victim was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No one was arrested in connection with the murder.
