Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: A team of officers attached to the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC), seized over 1000 assorted counterfeit goods at a premises located on Mark Lane, in downtown Kingston, on Monday, December 17.
The police say the goods which consist of footwear and sport apparels bearing fake brand names of Nike, Converse and Puma were among the items seized.
The counterfeit goods is estimated at a street value of Jamaican $9-million.
The police reported that about 10:10 p.m. on Monday, the officers acted upon information received and carried out a raid at the Mark Lane premises in downtown Kingston.
During the operation, the goods which were found were then impounded.
