6 Year Old Girl Saves 1-Year-Old Sister From Burning House

A St James family is currently mourning the loss of two of their children after a fire consumed their home on Friday night in Paradise, Norwood.

Reports are that the 38-year-old mother of the children left them alone and shortly thereafter their home caught fire. It is believed that the family’s 6-year-old daughter managed to escape the fire taking her one-year-old sister with her. Cory-Ann Palmer has been coined a hero by her father, her community and even the general public.

The deceased children have been identified as 8-year-old Javinci Palmer and one-year-old Tyler McLeod who is the twin sister of the other one-year-old who escaped the fire.

The two girls were injured and treated at the hospital.
