Jamaica Crime News,St Catherine : The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said five men were fatally shot and another injured in two incidents this week at Caymanas Bay in the St Catherine South Police Division.
In the first incident, gunmen shot two men who were at a house about 5:30 Tuesday morning.
The man who lived at the house was pronounced dead at hospital. He is 31-year-old electrician Stephen Bennett, otherwise called ‘Evil’, said the JCF. The other man was treated.
The JCF stated that, in the other incident, four unidentified men were shot dead at a house in the community yesterday, November 28.
“Reports are that, about 7:15am, residents stumbled upon the bodies and alerted the police. On their arrival, one body was seen lying on the verandah and the other three were seen lying inside the house. They all had multiple gunshot wounds. The scene was processed and the bodies removed to the morgue,” the JCF explained.
It gave the following descriptions of the four bodies:
– The first body is of brown complexion, slim build and is believed to be in its early thirties. It was clad in a black T-shirt, silver chain and bracelet, and camouflage pants. It also sports a low-cut hairstyle and is about 170 centimetres (5 feet 7 inches) long.
– The second body is of dark complexion, slim build, and is in its late twenties. It was clad in a black pull-over shirt, grey jeans, blue knapsack and it sports plaited hairstyle.
– The third body is of dark complexion, slim build, and is believed to be in its late twenties. It was clad is a black pullover, black pants, a pair of black shoes. It is about 177 centimetres (5 feet 10 inches) long.
– The fourth body is of dark complexion, slim build, and is believed to be in its mid twenties. It was clad in a camouflage long-sleeved pullover, blue jeans, and a pair of black sneakers. It is about 172 centimetres (5 feet 8 inches) long.
The JCF, in the meantime, is asking anyone with information that can assist in the investigations to contact the Central Village police at 876- 984-2644, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
