Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: The police in Hanover have taken five men into custody for questioning, in relation to the murder of 11-year-old Trisha Morris of Woodland district, Hanover.
Trisha’s body was discovered in bushes at a section of Woodland district in Hanover on Tuesday, April 30. Her decomposed body had multiple wounds and there was also signs o sexual assault.
Following the discovery of her body, a man was picked up by the Hanover police.
During an operation led by the police in Haddington District yesterday, three other men were arrested. One man has also turned himself over to the police.
Superintendent Sharon Beeput, Commanding Officer for the Hanover Division, said the Community Safety and Security Branch has been giving the necessary support to residents of Woodland district.
