5 Held for Illegal Firearm at Railway Lane, in Montego Bay

Latest Jamaica News, Montego Bay (McKoy’s News): Five persons including a teenage boy, were arrested by the police in connection with the seizure of an illegal firearm, and several rounds of ammunition during a joint military operation carried out on Railway Lane in Montego Bay, St James, on Saturday, September 28.
The identities of the five accused have been withheld pending further investigations.
Manchester Man Charged With Illegal Possession Of Firearm, And Assault
Reports by the police are that shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, a joint military operation was carried out at a premises along Railway Lane.
During the operation, a search was carried out of a blue bag which was found at the premises, and a Beretta 9mm semi-automatic pistol, fitted with a magazine containing nine live 9mm rounds of ammunition was found.
