Jamaica Crime News, St Ann: 41-year-old Trecia Myrie has been charged with the murder of another woman, whose nude body was found this month on a roadway in Runaway Bay, St Ann.
Myrie will make her first appearance in the St Ann Parish Court today, November 27, to answer to a charge of murder.
Myrie was charged on November 23 for the murder of Tamoya Beckford who resided in Bull Bay, St Andrew.
Reports are that shortly after 7:00 a.m., the accused woman went to her boyfriend’s home at a section of Belair district known as Crocodile City, after getting news that another woman was at his house.
Upon entering the house, she saw Beckford lying in bed and reportedly brandished a knife and attacked her.
During the confrontation, the accused reportedly stabbed Beckford multiple times to her upper body.

Beckford’s nude body was found with multiple stab wounds, on the roadway at Phase 2 in Runaway Bay on November 14.
Residents alerted the police and upon arrival, the accused was taken into custody. The wounded female was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
