Three men were ambushed, and shot by armed men, while travelling by motorcycles at a section of Green Island, in Hanover, on Wednesday, April 10.
The names of the three injured motorcyclists are being withheld pending further investigations.
Reports by the Lucea police are that, shortly after 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, the three men were among a group of other bike riders travelling home from a grave digging in Green Island.
The bikers had just reached a section of March Town when a group of armed men jumped from behind a bush and opened fire on them.
All three victims received multiple gunshot wounds and were rushed to the Noel Holmes Hospital in Lucea, where they were treated and admitted.
