Two men from Kingston have been arrested and charged for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition after a police raid in Seaview Gardens, on Saturday, July 25.
They are 26-year-old Roland Bowes and 21-year-old Jesse Gordon, both of Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11.
Reports from the Seaview Gardens Police are that on Saturday afternoon, a team of lawmen conducted an operation in search of illegal firearms and ammunition. During the search, the they found: One AK-47 rifle with an empty magazine, two .38 revolvers, thirty-one 9mm rounds of ammunition and six .38 rounds of ammunition and an empty Glock magazine
Gordon was also charged with possession of identity information in relation to lead sheets that were found in his possession.
Their court date has not been finalised.
Investigations continue.
