The usually quiet town of Freeman’s Hall in Trelawny was the scene of a murder-suicide involving a woman, her jealous exboyfriend, and another man who was said to be her friend.
Reports are that Sophia “Carol” Bryan went to a party with her friend, Junior “Tussy” Bailey until approximately 4 am this morning. On returning they were attacked by Garfield “Milo” Edwards who slashed her throat and stabbed her several times before stabbing and killing Mr. Bailey. Sometime after 6 am, Milo was seen fleeing the scene with bloody hands by another resident who made inquiries. He told the person that he was running from the police and cut his hands on the glass. His body was found hours later hanging.
Residents say that Ms. Bryan had been in a brief, tumultuous relationship with Milo. They say when she ended the relationship he stalked her relentlessly to the point where she had made several reports to the police.
