Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – 2 Flankers Men Charged: Investigators in the parish of St James have reported that two men who hail from the community of Flankers and who were caught in possession of several assorted spent casings on New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day have been slapped with charges of Illegal Possession of Ammunition.

According to the police, the identities of both men are still being withheld pending further investigations.

Investigations reported that between the hours of 7:00 pm on New Year’s Eve and 7:00 am on New Years Day,  a team of officers carried out several operations in Flankers.

The team went to a house occupied by both men at a section of the area known as Goat Pen.

Following a search of the dwelling, they discovered several 9mm Spent Casings along with several A-K47 spent casings and 12 gauge cartridges.

Both men were taken into custody and slapped with charges on Thursday afternoon.

They are booked to appear in court early next week.
