$1Million Bail Granted for Double Murder Accused

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Delano Brissett, the St. Thomas man who was charged for the murder of a taxi operator and a male passenger on January of 2018, was granted bail in the sum of $1-million ,when he appeared in the St Thomas Parish Court last week.

As part of his bail condition, Brissett was ordered to surrender his travel documents and to report to the nearest police station twice per week.

He is facing murder charges committed against 21-year-old Jevaughn Russell of Pondside district and Jerome Bogle,  42-year-old robot taxi operator of Aelous Valley, both in St Thomas.

It is reported that about 10:00 p.m. on January 30, 2018 the accused opened fire on the robot taxi killing  Boyle and Russell.
