17-Year-Old Boy Drown At Beach In St Ann

Jamaica News: The St Ann police are carrying out investigations surrounding the death of a teenage boy, who died by drowning at a beach in Priory district, in St Ann, on Saturday, March 28.
The dead teen has been identified as Kingsley Campbell, of Sterling district, Calderwood, in St Ann.
Reports are that shortly after 4:30p.m., Kingsley and a relative was at the beach, when he reported that he felt ill.
The relative thought that the boy must be hungry, so he left him to purchase food at a nearby shop, however, upon his return, Kingsley was nowhere to be found.
The relative raised an alarm, and other persons at the beach assisted him in a search of the beach, for the missing teen.
Minutes later they found the boy’s clothing lying in the sand, and shortly after, his body was seen floating in the sea. The police were summoned and upon arrival, the area was processed, and the body removed to the morgue for a post mortem examination.
