St Catherine, Jamaica – Spanish Town Teenage Girl Shot Dead: postmortem results for 17-year-old Ariell Lawrence of Spanish Town, St Catherine revealed that she was murdered. The teen was found dead shortly after she took a taxi in Portmore, St Catherine.
Reportedly, two weeks ago Seventeen year old Ariell Lawrence took a taxi from the town of Portmore, in the parish of St Catherine heading to her home in Spanish Town, also in the parish. Then minutes later sent a message to a friend saying that she was uncomfortable in the vehicle.
She was on her way home after visiting a friend’s home in Portsmouth, Portmore, when she boarded a taxi en route from Portmore to Spanish Town, as she headed for home.
Arielle’s body was found with injuries to her head along the George Lee Boulevard near the Town Centre Plaza, in St Catherine.
Postmortem results revealed that Ariell Lawrence died as a result of two gunshots to her head.
After the postmortem results were revealed on Friday, the Greater Portmore Police have launched a homicide investigation.
