St. James, Jamaica (Mckoys News)- 15-Year-old Boy Murdered while Sleeping : A 15-yr-old teenager who hails from the community of Glendevon in St James was shot and killed while in his sleep in Glendevon on Sunday night. He has been identified as Jahiem Dussard of a 45 Lieon Avenue in Glendevon.
Reports are that shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, Dussard was asleep in his bed in Glendevon when one of his family members heard strange sounds on the outside of the house.
The family member got up and peeped through a window and saw three masked men with guns on the outside of the house. A few minutes later the gunmen kicked open the door to the teenager’s room and shot him multiple times in his sleep.
The gunmen then made their escape in the area while the Montego Hills police were summoned. On arrival of the police, the wounded teenager was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
