134 Rounds of Ammunition Found in Westmoreland

Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: Detectives attached to the Westmoreland Divisional Intelligence Unit “DIU” seized a total of 134 rounds of assorted ammunition in the parish of Westmoreland on Wednesday night, May 30.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
The police have reported that about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a team of officers carried out an operation at sections of Strathbogie District in Westmoreland.
During the operation, a search was carried out of an old abandoned building where the lawmen discovered an Igloo and several jars.
A search of the Igloo led to the discovery of Forty One live 9mm cartridges, twenty-two .40 cartridges, thirty .38 cartridges, thirty-one .45 cartridges and ten 12 gauge cartridges.
