Suspects in Custody for Police Officer 16-year-old Stepson Murder

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Police Officer 16-year-old Stepson Murder: The Freeport police in Montego Bay, St James have reported that they have now taken two suspects into custody in connection with the shooting death of a Police Corporal’s 16-year-old Stepson on Tuesday night.

According to investigators, it is way too early to make statements but following the shooting death of the teenager, they worked with some strong leads which led to the arrest of both suspects who are also from Montego Bay addresses.

Reports are that about 9:30 pm on Tuesday night, the Police Corporal drove his motor vehicle to a section of Irwin Meadows to pick up his 16-year-old stepson Marc Williams who was attending a Bible study meeting in the area.

The teenager was just about to enter the vehicle when several men armed with guns opened fire on the vehicle hitting the boy.  The Police Corporal returned the fire on the men who fled the scene on foot.

The officer then rushed the wounded boy to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he died whilst being treated.

The investigators further stated that they will not rest until they have brought those responsible to justice.
