St. James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Mount Carey Mechanic Dies: The police in the parish of St James has told our news team, that a  man who was shot and injured by gunmen at his home in Mount Carey on September 20, 2017, died from   his  injuries at the National Chest Hospital in Kingston on Monday afternoon.

He has been identified as Errol Bennett, of a York Bush address, in  Mount Carey.

Reports by the Anchovy police, are that on the night of September 20, Bennett and three other men were at a house in York Bush when gunmen kicked open the door and held them at gunpoint. The gunmen demanded money, and when their demands were not met, they opened fire on the three occupants, hitting them all over their bodies.

An alarm was raised and all three victims were rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were treated and admitted in serious condition.

Bennett’s condition got worse, and he was transferred to the National Chest Hospital where he died from his injuries on Monday.
